4 lg. green apples
1 c. nuts, chopped
2/3 c. salad oil
2 lg. eggs
2 tbsp. vanilla
2 c. granulated sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon

Peel and slice apples. Add chopped nuts; set aside. Beat until foamy oil, eggs, vanilla. Add sugar, flour, soda, salt and cinnamon. This makes thick dough. Mix in apples and nuts. Place in large oiled and floured pan. Bake about 45 minutes in 350 degree oven. Let cool and then icing.
