RASPBERRY THIMBLE COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Raspberry jam
Chopped nuts

Hold butter under running water for a second, just long enough to wet it, before placing it in a bowl. Sift sugar, flour, baking powder and salt together and add gradually to butter. Shape into 3/4 inch balls. Press a thimble or your thumb into the center. Fill the depression with raspberry jam and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
