CHOP SUEY | |
4 pork chops, cut up 2 chopped onions 2 c. chopped celery 1 can bean sprouts 1 can mushrooms 2 c. chopped cabbage Salt and pepper 2 or 3 tbsp. cornstarch Brown pork in 3 tablespoons oil. Add onions and celery. Cook and stir 10 minutes. Add 2 cups water and mushrooms. Cover and boil 5 minutes. Add bean sprouts and cabbage. Return to boil. Mix cornstarch with enough water to blend. Add soy sauce to this. Mix mixture with meat. Stir until thick. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. |
