MEAT BALLS IN SOUR CREAM GRAVY 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. onion or less, chopped
2 (4 1/2 oz.) cans pitted ripe olives (I didn't use)
3 tbsp. enriched flour
1/2 c. water
2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. dill seed or weed
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. fat

Combine meat, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, pepper, eggs, and onion; mix well. Shape meat balls around pitted olive (I didn't do this - I just made the balls). Brown in hot fat. Remove from skillet; keep hot. Remove 3 tablespoons fat in skillet. Add flour; blend. Add water. Cook and stir until thick. Add sour cream, dill seed or weed, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Pour over meat balls. Serve with cooked broad noodles. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
