1 c. butter
2 c. unsifted flour
1/3 c. whipping cream

Mix all ingredients together thoroughly. Chill dough. Roll dough out 1/8 inch thick. Cut with 1 1/2 inch round cookie cutter. Sprinkle with sugar. Prick with a fork several times. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool cookies and put together sandwich fashion with filling.

FILLING:

1 egg yolk
3/4 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. almond extract
Few drops food coloring

When filling, be careful as cookies crumble easily.
