TRUST ME QUICK CHILI BEANS 
Many lovers of chili will not usually use ground beef (me too). However, this mixture is as good as some of the award winners off of the can label.

1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, minced
2-3 cloves minced garlic or 1 tsp. powder
2 tsp. chili powder
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can diced green chilies
1/2 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. liquid smoke
2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans Campbell Ranchero beans (no substitute)

In a 3-quart pot, brown beef, onion, garlic, chili powder and cumin. Add beans, liquid smoke, diced chilies and bring to low boil. Simmer for 5-10 minutes. Do not serve with rice as the label suggests. Yuk! Sprinkle with sharp Cheddar cheese in each serving bowl. Preparation and cooking time, 1 hour.
