SCALLOPED SPUDS 
6 med. potatoes
1/4 c. butter
1 pt. sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped chives
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar
1 can cream of chicken soup
Crushed corn flakes, Ritz crackers or bread crumbs

Cook potatoes and chill (in boiling water about 25 minutes). Peel and grate into deep bowl. Melt butter. Add rest of ingredients except bread crumbs. Mix well and pour into 13 x 9 inch dish. Mix crumbs with a little melted butter and sprinkle over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
