HOLY GUACAMOLE 
2 ripe avocados, peeled & diced
1-1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 or 2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tsp. dried basil
1/4 c. red pepper, diced
2 tbsp. salsa
1-1/2 tbsp. slivered almonds, coarsely chopped
2 tbsp. thinly sliced green onions
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. cilantro (optional)
sour cream for garnish

Mash 1 avocado, mix with lemon juice, cilantro, garlic, basil and salt. Stir in remaining diced avocado. Mix together with red pepper, salsa, onion and almonds.

Garnish with a dollop of sour cream. Serve with tortilla chips or fresh veggies.

Makes 2-1/2 cups.
