SANDWICH SPREAD | |
4 green peppers 8 red peppers 3 onions 2 lg. green tomatoes 1 tbsp. salt Grind tomatoes and let stand with salt for 5 hours. Drain well. Grind peppers and onions. Drain well, also. Add 1 3/4 cups sugar, 3/4 cup vinegar, 1/2 pint prepared mustard. Let boil 10 minutes. Thicken with 1/4 cup flour. Remove from stove and add 1 pint of salad dressing. Mix well and put in small jars. Seal while hot. |
