DARK CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 c. cocoa
2 c. boiling water
2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. Crisco
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Put cocoa and water into saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add sugar and Crisco. When the mixture has cooled, add eggs. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add dry ingredients to mixture. Beat and add vanilla. Bake in square pan at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.
