GRANDMOTHER'S FRUIT COBBLER
TURNOVER
 
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 c. milk
1 qt. fruit, canned or fresh

Melt butter in baking dish. Pat butter in dish and add fruit on top of batter. Bake at 375 degrees until golden brown on top. During baking it will "turn over" and the fruit will be on the bottom.
