SALMON LOAF 
1 (16 oz.) can salmon
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/4 c. melted fat or oil
1/3 c. salmon liquid
1/3 c. fine dry bread crumbs
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Drain salmon and save the liquid flake salmon. Cook onion in the fat until tender. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Place salmon mixture in loaf pan. Bake 40-50 minutes or until firm in the center. Remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes for easier slicing.
