OATS AND CORNMEAL WAFFLE 
1 c. white flour
1/2 c. oat bran
1/2 c. cornmeal
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs, separated
1 1/4 c. butter, melted
1 3/4 c. buttermilk

Combine dry ingredients. Beat egg yolks slightly and add buttermilk and butter. Stir in dry ingredients until moistened. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into batter. Use 1/2 cup for each waffle.
