OLD FASHIONED APPLE PUDDING 
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. milk
2 c. thinly sliced apples, canned or fresh

Mix dry ingredients together. Cream the butter with the sugar and eggs. Add the dry ingredients alternately with the milk. Spread half the batter in a greased baking dish, 8x10 inches. Cover with the apples. Top with the remaining half of the batter.

Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve warm with a caramel sauce or lemon sauce. Also good warm with whipped cream.
