OLD FASHIONED FUDGE 
2/3 c. cocoa
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. Karo syrup
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts, optional
1 1/2 c. coconut, optional or
1 c. crunchy peanut butter, optional

Put cocoa, sugar, syrup, and milk in to saucepan and cook to a full boil. Reduce heat and continue to boil without stirring for about 45 minutes to 1 hour or until it forms a ball in a cup of cold water. Drop with a teaspoon in the water. Then add butter, vanilla, peanut butter, coconut, or nuts. Stir until thick. Pour on buttered cookie sheet.
