1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk (1 can)
3 c. sugar
3 tbsp. unsweetened chocolate

Melt butter and chocolate in double boiler. Stir in sugar, salt, milk gradually. Return to fire and cook a few minutes.
