HERB CHEDDAR BREAD 
1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. tepid water
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. butter
1 tbsp. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. each oregano, thyme, marjoram
3 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar

Dissolve yeast in water. Heat milk and butter, pour into bowl. Add sugar and salt. Cool to lukewarm. Add WELL BEATEN eggs. Beat in yeast mixture and herbs. Gradually add 2 cups flour and beat until smooth. Add cheese and remaining flour and beat. Knead on floured board. Place in covered bowl and let rise until double in size. Knead again. Place in greased loaf pan and let rise again. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
