GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE 
2 lbs. hamburger
1 lg. onion, finely chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 cans tomato soup
3 cans French style green beans, drained
6 servings prepared mashed potatoes
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (6 oz.)

Brown hamburger and onion. Drain excess fat. Combine in 2 1/2 quart baking dish; hamburger and onion mixture, salt, pepper, tomato soup and drained green beans. Top with mounds of mashed potatoes. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Bake uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until cheese starts to brown. Yield: 8 servings.
