ITALIAN PATRALLI'S 
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. softened butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Add more flour if needed

Double the recipe for the following fruit mixture.

Chop medium fine or use food grinder-processor:

2 lbs. pitted dates
2 rings white figs
2 c. English walnut meats
1 pkg. seedless white grapes and honey, to taste

Mix all together and add honey to sweeten and soften mixture. Line molds with cookie mixture, fill with fruit. Trim tops with candied fruit or nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Cookies keep well if wrapped in Saran Wrap and place in airtight container.
