ITALIAN SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
1 c. minced onion
2 tbsp. fat (olive oil)
1 lb. ground meat
2 minced cloves garlic
2 tbsp. parsley (1 tsp. if dried)
1 minced bell pepper
Pinch oregano
1 can tomatoes
2 sm. cans tomato paste
1 1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. sage
1/4 tsp. thyme

Saute onion in fat until tender. Add ground meat, stir and cook until red is out. Add all other ingredients. Cook, uncovered 1 1/2 hours. Stir occasionally.
