1 c. butter
1 c. shortening
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. chopped nut meats, optional
4 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, shortening and sugar together. Add finely chopped nuts, flour and extract. Form into small half moon shapes. Bake about 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Roll in powdered sugar while warm, if desired.
