SHREDDED WHEAT BREAD 
2 c. boiling water
2 c. shredded wheat biscuits
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. molasses or honey
3 tbsp. butter
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
5 to 6 c. all-purpose flour

Pour boiling water over shredded wheat biscuits. Add sugar, salt, molasses and butter. Let cool. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Mix and add flour. Knead and let rise until double.

Knead and make into 2 loaves. Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 375°F and bake 20 to 30 minutes more.

Makes 2 loaves.
