ORIENTAL SNACK MIX | |
1 (5 oz.) can chow mein noodles 3 c. bite-size shredded wheat 1 c. toasted whole almonds 1/4 c. oil 3 tbsp. soy sauce 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. ground ginger 1/8 tsp. ground red pepper In a dish to fit oven mix noodles, shredded wheat and toasted nuts. Set aside. Mix all other ingredients in a bowl. Pour over noodle mixture, tossing well to coat evenly. Cook uncovered, on 100% power for 5 1/2-6 1/2 minutes or until hot, stirring twice. Cool; mix will crisp during standing. Make about 6 cups. |
