BAKED ZITI AND SAUSAGE 
2 lb. hot or sweet Italian sausage (casings removed)
1 1/2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 jar (32 oz.) Spaghetti Sauce (any flavor)
3/4 pkg. 916 oz. size) ziti, cooked & drained
1/4 tsp. fennel seed
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 c. shredded mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large skillet thoroughly brown sausage. Add mushrooms and onion; saute until onion is translucent. Drain fat. Add remaining ingredients except mozzarella cheese. Spoon mixture into a 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Bake covered for 20 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with cheese and bake 10 minutes, or until bubbly. Serves 8.
