RANCHO BAKED BEANS | |
1/4 c. fat or salad oil 2 c. chopped onion 1 lb. ground lean beef 1 tsp. salt 1 c. tomato ketchup 2 tbsp. prepared mustard 2 tsp. cider vinegar 2 (1 lb.) cans pork and beans in tomato sauce 1 lb. can kidney beans, drained Heat fat in a skillet. Add onions, simmer until golden yellow. Add ground beef. Stir with a fork while beef browns slightly. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into a bean pot or a 2 quart casserole. Bake in a hot (400 degree) oven for 30 minutes. Makes 8 servings. |
