3 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla
7 tbsp. confectioners' sugar

Beat egg whites until stiff, add 4 tablespoons sugar gradually, beating thoroughly. Fold in remaining sugar and vanilla. Spread over pie fillings an bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown, about 10 to 12 minutes.
