THE BEST DOUBLE CHOCOLATE BROWNIES | |
3/4 c. all purpose flour 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1/3 c. butter 3/4 c. sugar 2 tsp. water 1 (12 oz.) pkg. Nestle semi-sweet morsels, divided (2 c. total) 1 tsp. vanilla extract 2 eggs 1/2 c. chopped nuts Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a small bowl combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside. In a small saucepan, combine butter, sugar, and water; bring JUST TO A BOIL, remove from heat. Add 6 ounces (1 cup) of the morsels and vanilla extract. Stir until the morsels melts and mixture is smooth. Transfer to a large bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in remaining morsels (1 cup) and nuts. Spread into greased 9 inch square baking pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 30-35 minutes. |
