GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE | |
3 pkg. frozen French green beans 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 can water chestnuts (chopped) 2 cans celery soup 1/8 tsp. black pepper 1/2 c. milk 1 can French fried onion rings Cook green bean according to directions on package. Drain. Mix milk with soup and add to beans along with chestnuts, pepper and salt. Place in a long shallow baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Last 5 minutes of cooking time, remove from oven and sprinkle with French fried onion rings. Return to oven for 5 minutes. Serve hot. |
