WALNUT TORTE 
12 eggs, separated
12 tbsp. sugar
1 level tsp. instant coffee
6 tbsp. bread crumbs
12 tbsp. ground walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla or rum extract (optional)

Beat egg yolks and sugar with electric mixer. Add instant coffee, bread crumbs and ground walnuts. Fold in egg whites, beaten. Pour into 3 (9 inch) pans and bake in 250 degree oven for 20 minutes. Add optional extract. Frost with sweet butter and powdered sugar frosting.
