APPLE PLUM CRISP 
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 stick butter
2 lbs. Granny Smith apples
1/2 lb. red plums
1 tbsp. cornstarch

Combine flour, 1/2 cup of the sugar, salt and 1/4 tsp. nutmeg. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Peel apples and thinly slice. Slice plums. Combine fruit with remaining sugar, nutmeg and cornstarch. Pour into a 9 inch baking dish and top with the crumb topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes until top is golden and fruit is tender.
