SAUSAGE BREAD 
1 pizza dough
1 lb. Italian sausage (hot or sweet)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese, grated
1 egg, slightly beaten
Oil
Garlic powder
Oregano leaves
Greased cookie sheet

Cook sausage loose; drain and let cool. Mix sausage, cheese, and egg. On foil, with hands, spread dough into a rectangle. Spread sausage mixture evenly on dough. Roll up beginning with longest side; pinch seam and edges to seal.

Place on lightly greased cookie sheet, seam end down. Rub oil all over it and sprinkle with garlic and oregano. Make several punctures with fork. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly on wire rack. Serve warm or cold, sliced. Freezes well. Yield 1 or 2 loaves.

Frozen bread dough may be used; thaw and proceed as above.
