1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1 lg. can cherry or apple pie filling
1 lg. box yellow cake mix
1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
Nuts, chopped (about 1/2 c.)
Whipped topping

Dump pineapple in bottom of greased 9"x12" baking dish. Next add cherry pie filling, top of pineapple. Do not mix. Sprinkle cake mix over cherry mix, then nuts, pour butter over all. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serve with topping. Rich, make serving on small side.
