ANGEL BISCUITS (SCONES) 
1 pkg. yeast
2 tbsp. lukewarm water
1 c. shortening
5 c. flour
1 tsp. flour
3 tbsp. baking powder
4 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk

Dissolve yeast in water. Sift dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Blend in yeast and butter and milk. Knead enough to hold together. Roll to desired thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve with cream, whipped and jam.
