ANGEL BISCUITS 
1 tbsp. yeast
5 tbsp. warm water
2 c. buttermilk, warmed
5 c. flour (white, wheat or combination)
5 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. sugar or honey
3/4 c. butter

In a small bowl dissolve yeast in water and buttermilk. In a large bowl mix together flour, baking powder, salt, soda and sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly. Mix in yeast. Knead slightly and roll dough out on lightly floured surface.

Cut with biscuit cutter and bake on greased cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

(Can be made in the morning, cover with plastic wrap after placing on sheets and refrigerate until dinner time.)
