TOFFEE NUT BARS 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour

TOP:

2 eggs, beaten slightly
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped almonds

Mix and press the first 3 ingredients into 7" x 11" x 1 1/2" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool slightly. Mix together the rest of ingredients to make top layer. Spread on bottom layer. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cut in squares. Yield: 24 bars.
