APPLE AND SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE 
1 can (2 lb.) sweet potatoes (sliced lengthwise)
2 c. sliced apples
3/4 c. maple syrup
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 tsp. salt

Place potato slices in greased 12 x 8 x 2 inch dish. Arrange apple slices on top of potatoes.

Combine syrup, butter and salt. Pour over potatoes and apples. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove cover and continue to bake until apples are tender (about 30 minutes longer), basting frequently.
