TENDERIZING MARINADE 
1 1/2 c. salad oil
3/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. dry mustard
2 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. black pepper, coarsely ground
1/2 c. red wine vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
2 crushed garlic cloves
1/3 c. lemon juice

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate 1 week.

Marinades don't tenderize anything. They don't penetrate past the very surface of the meat so there's no way they can tenderize the meat inside. It feels easier to eat because the ingredients in the marinade cause you to salivate more while you're eating.
