BAKED STEW 
2 lb. stew meat
2 c. chopped onion
2 c. chopped carrots
2 c. chopped celery
4 quartered potatoes
1 sm. can mushrooms
4 c. V-8 juice
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
5 tbsp. tapioca
1 tsp. sugar

Put meat in bottom of baking dish. Add vegetables, seasonings, V-8 juice and tapioca. Cover with tight fitting lid and bake at 300 degrees for 4-5 hours. Do not stir stew.
