TAMALE CASSEROLE 
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can tamales
1 pt. whole kernel corn
1 lb. hamburger
2 sm. onions
Cheese

Drain the tamales and mash them. Add one pint of corn. Save the tamale liquid to be added to hamburger mixture. Break up one pound of hamburger and brown in hot skillet. Chop two small onions. Cook a few minutes more, stirring frequently. Add a 6 ounce can of tomato paste and 2/3 of liquid drained from the tamales. Put a layer of the tamale mixture, then a layer of the hamburger mixture. Grate cheese on top of whole mixture. Cook in moderate oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
