RHUBARB COBBLER 
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. rhubarb, cut in pieces
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped pecans
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. shredded orange peel

1. Combine 1 cup sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon. Add rhubarb and water. Cook and stir until mixture is boiling. Cook 1 minute longer. Pour into 8 x 1 1/2 inch round baking dish. Dot with 2 tablespoons butter. Place in oven 400 degrees while preparing biscuits.

2. Sift together flour, 1/3 cup sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in 4 tablespoons butter. Stir in milk, pecans and orange peel. Drop spoonfuls of batter onto rhubarb mixture. Bake 400 degrees, 25 minutes. Serve with cream or milk. Makes 6 servings.
