TAFFY APPLE SALAD 
4 c. or 8 Granny Smith apples, peeled & diced
1/4 c. sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 tbsp. flour
1 beaten egg
2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1 c. ground salted peanuts or chopped fine
8 oz. crushed pineapple, drained (save juice)

Mix flour, sugar, pineapple juice, egg and vinegar in small pan. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture is thick. Refrigerate until cold. Add mixture to apples and pineapple. Fold in Cool Whip and 3/4 cup nuts. Sprinkle remaining nuts on top. Chill a few hours before serving.
