1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. sherry
3 slices pineapple
1/2 lb. chopped dates
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. nuts
1/2 lb. cherries
1/2 lb. raisins

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and sherry. Mix well. Add dry ingredients and blend. Add fruits and nuts that have been chopped. Nuts should be broken into fairly small pieces.

Bake at 300°F for 20 to 30 minutes. Cool.
