UGLY DUCKLING CAKE 
1 to 2 layer yellow cake mix with pudding
1 (16 oz.) can fruit cocktail and syrup
4 beaten eggs
1/4 c. oil
1 c. coconut

Mix everything and beat for 4 minutes. Put in greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cup brown sugar on top of uncooked cake. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk

Combine and boil for 2 minutes. Add 1 1/2 cups coconut (and nuts, if desired). Cool cake for 15 minutes, then drizzle topping on cake. Delicious!
