TERIYAKI CHICKEN 
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. ginger powder
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
6 chicken parts

Thoroughly rinse chicken; drain. In a bowl combine sauce, sugar, ginger and garlic; mix thoroughly. Place chicken in baking pan, skin side up. Pour sauce mixture over chicken with clear wrap to cover; refrigerate. Marinate 4-6 hours or overnight.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove clear wrap. Place in oven and bake 30 minutes. Turn chicken over and bake 30 minutes longer. Baste with teriyaki sauce several times during baking. Makes 6 servings.
