SEVEN LAYER SALAD 
1/2 head lettuce, coarsely grated
1 c. celery, chopped
1 c. green pepper, chopped
1 c. purple onion
1 (17 oz.) can tiny English peas
1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Layer in dish as listed, top with broken bits of 4 slices crisp fried bacon. Cover tightly and refrigerate 8 hours.
