OATMEAL - WHEAT GERM CRACKERS | |
3 c. quick cooking oats, uncooked 2 c. unbleached all-purpose flour 1 c. wheat germ 3 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 3/4 c. vegetable oil 1 c. water Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; mix well. Add oil and water, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened. Divide mixture onto 2 ungreased cookie sheets. Roll mixture directly on cookie sheets to 1/8-inch thickness and cut into 2-inch squares. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Separate crackers and let cool on wire rack. Store in a tightly covered container. Yield: 6 1/2 dozen. |
