TOMS' WHOLE WHEAT CRACKERS 
2 c. white flour
2 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. butter and lard mixed together
1 egg
Milk

Combine flours and baking powder. Cut in butter and lard until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add egg and enough milk to make a dough. Roll out thin onto greased cookie sheets. Cut into squares. Sprinkle with salt and prick all over with a fork. Bake in a 400 degree oven until lightly browned.
