ORIENTAL CABBAGE SALAD 
1 lb. cabbage (med. size bowl, full)
1 bunch green onions
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. brown vinegar
1 c. slivered almonds
2 pkg. chicken ramen soup mix
1 c. oil
1 c. sunflower nuts

Chop cabbage and break in noodles from soup mix. Add onions. Set aside.

Mix sugar, oil, vinegar and dry soup seasoning together and then add to cabbage. Put in cool place for at least 1 hour before serving. Add almonds before serving. Serves 6-8.
