ASPARAGUS CHEESE CASSEROLE 
3 tbsp. butter
12 asparagus spears
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. bread crumbs
1 c. milk
1 c. diced Cheddar cheese

Cook and drain fresh asparagus (that is cut into 2 inch pieces). Beat eggs. Add salt, pepper, bread crumbs, cheese and milk. Fold in asparagus, pour in greased dish. Pour melted butter over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves: 4 to 6.
