FRAN'S LEMON BARS 
1 c. butter
2 c. flour, sifted
1/2 c. powdered sugar

Mix these three and press into a 9x13 inch pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees until light brown.

FILLING: (mix while crust is in oven)
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. lemon rind
4 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Combine the above and pour onto the hot crust. Bake for another 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top when cool and cut into bars.
